Fraker’s Grove is delighted to offer an enhanced camping experience with our two spacious tenting sites. As part of our commitment to your comfort, we have also provided a convenient porta-potty facility on-site. With more exciting plans on the horizon, we are prepared to transform additional sites into group camp areas, complete with extra amenities to elevate your camping experience.

We understand that camping in Illinois follows a seasonal pattern for most outdoor enthusiasts. At Fraker’s Grove, our camping season runs from April 1st to October 14th each year, aligning with favorable weather conditions and allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the beauty of nature. Please note that our camping facilities will be temporarily closed from October 15th to March 31st annually, resuming the following spring.

If you are given the option to stay at the pond go for it! I am traveling in a self contained converted van. The sounds of the birds, water bugs, frogs created a beautiful cacophony. Dennis had firewood so a fire at dusk till darkened night lent another layer to my experience. No one else around just lotsa nature on a pond rimmed with trees and tall grasses in the middle of acres planted in soybean and corn. Dennis was very accommodating. Loved my overnight experience at Frakers Grove On the pond.

This place is amazing!!! Dennis is a great host and one of the nicest people you'll meet. Our site by the pond is fantastic. Listening to the birds and frogs as you sit by the fire is perfect. The stars at night are pretty special also. I highly recommend a trip to the farm. I can't say enough about this place. Perfect is a good start.

I loved the pond side site. It was as described and so private and beautiful. It was exactly what we needed it to be.

I loved my night camping on Dennis's land. When I arrived, he led me back to the campsite which was located next to the pond. It was completely private and surrounded by fields. He told me a bit of the interesting history of the land as well. Once the sun went down I was surrounded by lightening bugs and fell asleep to the sounds of all the little creatures living on the pond. I highly recommend this camp spot if you are truly looking to relax in solitude and enjoy nature.

Firewood is available for purchase: Enhance your campfire moments with high-quality firewood. Our carefully harvested wood, split and sized for convenience, guarantees a hassle-free experience.
Walk-in Access: Embrace the tranquility of nature as you embark on a short 5-10 minute walk to our camping area. Park near the buildings and let the serenity of the surroundings guide you to your chosen spot. If you require assistance, our team is happy to help transport your gear via our Side by Side vehicle.
Pets are allowed on leash: We understand the joy of bringing your furry companions along on your camping journey. Pets are welcome but kindly ask that they remain on a leash at all times. As we have free-range chickens, keeping your dogs leashed ensures a harmonious coexistence.
Porta Potty available: Your comfort and convenience are important to us. Rest assured, we have a well-maintained porta potty facility conveniently located on-site, ensuring easy access for all campers.
Potable water is available: Stay refreshed and hydrated during your stay with our potable water supply. Conveniently located spigots/hydrants near the buildings provide easy access for your water needs.
Trails to explore the property: Lace up your boots and embark on an adventure along our trails. Discover the natural beauty of Fraker’s Grove as you wander through the landscapes and immerse yourself in the serenity of the surroundings.
Discounts for weeknight camping: Take advantage of our special offer! Enjoy a 10% discount per night for weeknight camping from Sunday to Thursday (excluding holidays). Simply book through our online platforms, and the discount will be automatically applied.
